Packing & Unpacking in the DMV
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Box the entire house or only the fragile pieces, with materials built for the road. Every carton is marked by its room, and unpacking at the new place is an option as well.
Packing & Unpacking in the DMV
Out of time, or dreading the china cabinet and the stemware? We take on the packing for DMV homes with proper materials and a careful touch. Hand over the entire place, or only the kitchen, the paintings, and the electronics, and keep the rest yourself.
What sets it apart
Good packing is what stands between a box arriving intact and arriving in shards, and on a long haul that counts twice over. We pack with double-wall cartons, real paper and bubble, and dedicated dish and mirror boxes, labeling each by room so nothing gets misplaced.
What we pack
- Kitchens, dishes, and glassware
- Art, mirrors, and electronics
- Books, closets, and wardrobe boxes
- Whole-home or partial, your pick
What we bring
- Double-wall boxes in every size
- Packing paper and bubble wrap
- Dish, mirror, and wardrobe cartons
- Tape, labels, and floor protection
Three Steps to Moving Day
From your first phone call to the last box set down in the right room.
Give Us the Details
Walk us through your move by phone, on a quick video call, or through the form. Back comes a flat price in writing, not a soft estimate that grows once the truck is loaded.
Reserve Your Date
Pick your day and we line up the right crew and truck, then file the DC no-parking permit, the building COI, or the freight-elevator reservation your move calls for.
We Do the Heavy Lifting
One lead runs the whole job, wrap, load, drive, and place, with our own DMV crew, and we plan the loading around the Beltway so the day does not slip.

Questions We Hear a Lot
What do you pack with?
Sturdy double-wall boxes, fresh newsprint and bubble, purpose-built dish and mirror cartons, and wardrobe boxes so clothes ride upright on the rod. Every box is marked with its room, which speeds the unload and keeps anything from going astray.
What is my move going to cost?
Two things set the number: how much you are moving and how tough the access is. A two-mover crew with a truck starts at $135/hr, and you get an itemized estimate in writing before we carry the first box. Want a hard ceiling? Ask for a flat cap and the figure you sign is the most you can be charged. Out-of-state jobs price out on weight and the distance.
Is there anything you won’t move?
A brief one, mostly down to safety and the law: flammables such as propane, gasoline, and paint, plus ammo, houseplants, perishable food, and pets. If a piece is extra-large, extra-heavy, or high in value, let us know at booking so we bring the right people and equipment.
What if something gets damaged?
Thorough wrapping makes it rare, but should a piece get damaged we write it up right then and open the claim the same day. Before the job starts we go over released versus full-value coverage, so you understand exactly how a claim plays out.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Not a problem. Reschedule or cancel with at least a day or two’ notice and your deposit comes back whole. Each of these terms is laid out plainly on your booking, so nothing is left in doubt.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Infinite Enterprise Movers carries household-goods authority for Maryland, DC, and Virginia and full insurance, and every job runs with our own crew from start to finish, no broker taking a cut in the middle. Ask for the authority and coverage details and we will run through valuation with you before you commit.
